Last year I took a jazzy arrangement of God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen by Simon Whiteley and transcribed it by ear, rearranging the 4 vocal parts to a standard string quartet violin violin viola cello.
The transcription isn’t 100% perfect, and I would love to see the original arrangement. But if you combine this score with listening to the real track, this can be a great piece to program in your christmas concert.
